Principal Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: PFG) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared an annual dividend of $0.70 per share, payable on Dec. 2, 2011 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 10, 2011. This is a 27 percent increase from the $0.55 annual dividend declared on Nov. 1, 2010.
